RESPONSIBILITIES
- Safely operate a Class A commercial motor vehicle on regional routes in Texas and surrounding states
- Pick up and deliver freight on schedule according to dispatch instructions
- Complete pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections per DOT regulations
- Maintain accurate daily logs using an ELD (Electronic Logging Device)
- Communicate with dispatch regarding route updates, delays, and delivery status
- Comply with all federal, state, and local transportation regulations including HOS rules
- Secure cargo properly and verify load accuracy before departure
- Represent Square Bid-ness LLC professionally at all customer locations
REQUIREMENTS
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL-A)
- Minimum 6 months of OTR experience within the last 2 years
- Clean driving record (MVR) — no major violations in the past 3 years
- Must meet all DOT physical and medical requirements
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Ability to pass a DOT pre-employment drug screen and background check
- Legally authorized to work in the United States
